It shall be unlawful to occupy or engage in a regulated activity within the sidewalk or right-of-way without a valid sidewalk use permit issued by the City Planner. Violation of this section shall be considered a civil violation pursuant to SMC 1.01.080 and Chapter 1.14 SMC, except as otherwise provided therein.
