A conditional use permit shall be required for utility transmission poles and towers located on private property, if their height exceeds 50 feet above the grade at the base of the pole. Utility distribution poles and towers are defined as those that support the systems for serving power, phone, television, and other wire utilities to the immediate area in which they are located.
