All pollutant analyses, including sampling techniques, shall be performed in accordance with the techniques prescribed in 40 CFR Part 136. If 40 CFR Part 136 does not contain sampling or analytical techniques for the pollutant in question, sampling and analyses must be performed in accordance with procedures approved by the EPA.

All analyses performed to establish compliance and used in compliance reporting (with the exception of flow, pH, and percent explosivity) shall be performed by a laboratory accredited by the DOE, Quality Assurance Division, in accordance with Chapter 173-50 WAC. Laboratories must be accredited for the analyses for which they are performing.
