5.52.010 Misdemeanor – Exception.

Whoever engages in gambling, or knowingly causes, aids, abets, or conspires with another to engage in gambling, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding ninety days, or both such fine and imprisonment; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to those persons or organizations engaged in the gambling activities of bingo, raffles, amusement games, fishing derbies, punch boards, pull-tabs, or social card games as specifically authorized herein.
