The watershed from which is obtained the public water supply for the City of Snohomish is hereby particularly defined and described as constituting the following area:

Beginning at the northerly end of the crest of the dam which is the headworks of the Snohomish water supply, situated in the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 29 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence northwesterly in a straight line to the northwest corner of said SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of said Section 9; thence northerly following the one sixteenth line through the middle of the North  of the NE 1/4 of said Section 9 and continuing northerly along the sixteenth line which is the center line of the East  of Section 4 in said township and range, to the north line of said township; thence east along township line to the quarter corner on the south line of Section 34, Township 30 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence north along the center line of said Section 34 to the quarter corner on the north side thereof; thence northwesterly to a point 660 feet east of the quarter corner on the west line of Section 27, Township 30 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence north parallel to the west line of said Section 27, to the north line thereof; thence west along section line to the southwest corner of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 21, Township 30 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence north along the sixteenth line which is the center line of the East  of said Section 21 and of Section 16, said township and range, to the sixteenth corner at the center of the NE 1/4 of said Section 16; thence east to the southeast corner of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 30 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence southeasterly in a straight line to the southeast corner of the NE 1/4 of said Section 15; thence east along the east and west center line of Sections 14 and 13, said township and range to the ridge or offshoot of Mt. Pilchuck, which forms the divide between Pilchuck River and the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River; thence following said ridge and divide to and across said Mt. Pilchuck and continuing southeasterly along said ridge and divide through Sections 14 and 13, Township 30 North, Range 7 East E. M. and through Sections 19, 20, 29, 28, 27, 34 and 35, Township 30 North, Range 8 East W. M.; thence following ridge and divide leading to and upon Bald Mountain, through Sections 2, 1 and 12, Township 29 North, Range 8 East W. M. and through Sections 7, 8 and 17, Township 29 North, Range 9 East W. M., to the east line of last named Section 17; thence South along the east line of Sections 17 and 20 to the southeast corner of Section 20, Township 29 North, Range 9 East W. M.; thence West to the southeast corner of Section 23, Township 29 North, Range 8 East W. M.; thence northwesterly to the quarter corner on the west line of last named Section 23; thence west along center line of Sections 22, 21 and 20, Township 29 North, Range 8 East W. M. to the center of last named Section 20; thence northwesterly in a straight line to the quarter corner on the east line of Section 12, Township 29 North, Range 7 East W. M.; thence West along the center line of Sections 12, 11 and 10, Township 29 North, Range 7 East W. M., to center of said Section 10; thence southwesterly in a straight line to a point 535 feet south of the northeast corner of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 10; thence west to a point 60.6 feet east of the west line of said Section 10; thence south for 400 feet more or less, to a point 25 feet north of the north bank of the present revised channel of Purdy Creek; thence westerly parallel to said revised channel of Purdy Creek to a point due south of point of beginning of this description; thence north to point of beginning, all within Snohomish County, State of Washington.
