A. All signs located within the shoreline jurisdiction shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 14.245 SMC, Sign Regulations.

B. Except noncommercial signs related to public safety, signs shall be prohibited waterward of the ordinary high water mark.

C. Light and glare from illuminated signs shall be shielded or directed away from adjacent properties, habitat, and the water.

D. In approving a sign permit, the Planning Director, or designee, may impose conditions as necessary to ensure consistency with the Shoreline Management Act and the Shoreline Master Program. (Ord. 2336, 2018)
