In cases of new construction where City services are not yet available, no building permit shall be issued in the City without the applicant having secured a private sewage disposal permit from the Snohomish Health District, Wastewater Section. As a condition of the building permit approval, at the time City services become available, the private sewage disposal system shall be discontinued, and connection made to City services including payment of applicable connection fees in accordance with Chapter 15.04 SMC. Failure to comply with this condition may result in revocation of certificate of occupancy by the City, and/or other appropriate legal action by the City to obtain compliance. (Ord. 2483, 2024)
