The Mayor, with confirmation by the City Council, shall have the power of appointment and removal of the City Treasurer. A person may be eligible to serve in the position of City Treasurer concurrently with the position of City Clerk pursuant to RCW 35.23.142. (Ord. 2339, 2017)
