In addition to the duties of the City Attorney, as now prescribed by law, he shall appear in all courts and conduct all suits, either at law or in equity, in which the City is either the complainant or the defendant; and he shall prepare all informations and complaints against all persons charged with violating any of the ordinances of the City of Snohomish and he shall appear before the court having jurisdiction of the offense charged and conduct the prosecution of said cause on the part of the City.
